About

Hello! My name is Abigail, and I’m the voice behind The Unashamed Apologist. I live in a small town in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where I enjoy spending time with loved ones, diving into a good book—particularly the Bible and the works of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien—and honing my pickleball skills.

Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in biology with a concentration in health professions, alongside a minor in Christian apologetics. Studying both science and faith has given me a unique perspective on the beauty of God’s creation and the importance of engaging thoughtfully with the questions that arise at their intersection.

My love for apologetics was kindled when I faced tough questions about faith and why I believe what I believe, prompting me to dig deeper into God’s Word for answers. How can people know the God of the Bible without knowing what God says in and through the Bible? This blog grew out of that experience, with the hope of creating a space where believers can explore challenging topics, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and approach life’s complexities from a Christ-centered perspective.

Through The Unashamed Apologist, I aim to encourage growth, inspire confidence in the truth of Scripture, and provide practical tools for living out faith with boldness. One of my guiding verses is 2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV): 'Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.' My hope and prayer is that hearts, minds, and eyes are opened to the truth of the gospel and that every encounter with God’s truth leads closer to a flourishing and well-founded faith.

When I’m not writing or studying, you might find me discovering my next favorite coffee spot or enjoying quality time with friends and family. I invite you to explore the topics and resources shared here, and together, let’s grow in grace and truth as we become Unashamed!
